Get a new duvet cover to add some pizzazz to your old quilt or comforter. Toss on some color-coordinated throw pillows, and you’ve got a whole new look without a ton of cost. In the Family Room
Add an area rug placed at an angle, such as under a coffee table, to help it stand out. Rugs are a great way to add a new color or freshen up otherwise dull floors. Or add some decorative pillows for softness and depth.
In Any Room
Dress up your windows. New hard treatments can direct light and change the entire look of your room. Fabric top treatments or custom draperies can help you change color schemes or tie rooms together with a common theme. Also, add some plants to bring a hint of nature indoors. If you don’t have a green thumb, high-quality silk plants and trees will do the trick.
