About the Design Studio™
In 2019, Hunter Douglas launched the Design Studio to offer customers a new way to make their windows truly tailored to their tastes. The drapery, side panels, and Roman and roller shades available for order through the Design Studio are available in nearly endless options and can coordinate with existing Hunter Douglas products to very easily achieve one-of-a-kind window looks. The wide range of textiles includes the acclaimed Featured Artist series, which highlights Marcie Bronkar’s patterns, as well as those of Rebecca Atwood and Seema Krish. Even design novices can feel comfortable in the Design Studio, which offers numerous complementary and coordinating pairing suggestions in their folios of fabrics.
Marcie Bronkar’s Collection
A renowned textile and product designer, Marcie Bronkar is passionate about color and is inspired by historical period artwork and objects to stylized patterns that blend with the modern world. She has been a practicing interior designer for over 20 years, creating classic and comfortable living spaces that honor the integrity of historical design. Marcie has designed seven different textiles exclusively for Hunter Douglas, all available as drapery, side panels, roller and Roman shades, accessories, and Fabric by the Yard. The line includes Amaryllis, Laurel, Menagerie, Oleander, August, Lily, and Grand Fleur, which is inspired by 17th-century fabrics but chain-stitched for a fresh approach. All of Marcie’s fabrics are available to order now, so be sure to speak with one of our consultants to see them in person and to determine how best to add them to your home’s design.
