- Memorial Sloan Kettering. Hunter Douglas recently underwrote a graduate fellowship in breast cancer research, hoping that talented students will find a breakthrough in the search for a cure.
- Ronald McDonald House Charities®. As well as its ongoing support, Hunter Douglas recently created contest for children called Shades of Happiness. For the contest, kids drew and submitted pictures that conveyed “happiness.” The winning drawings were printed onto shades in the architectural division, which were hung in the Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times dining hall.
- Habitat for Humanity. Long a supporter of this charity, which helps disadvantaged people get housing, Hunter Douglas has so far donated nearly 300,000 window treatments to low-income families, as well as working hours helping to build new homes.
